About

Our client is a design agency that specialises in retail and branding. Their talented and hard-working team delivers high-quality retail interior and architectural design, retail graphics and brand identity projects to a variety of well-known blue-chip clients.

Now looking to add an Account Director to the team. You will lead, maintain and grow client relationships across all accounts assigned to you and your team.

There’s plenty of scope for flexible working, you can choose your own hours and work from home, as long as you can get into the office for client meetings as required.

Job Role

  • Play a lead role in new business pitches, including developing responses to briefs and taking part in pitch presentations
  • Recognise and develop new business opportunities with new or existing clients
  • Manage and drive strategic direction of your client’s accounts
  • Maximise turnover on each client assigned to you and your team; ensuring both forecasted targets and client objectives are met
  • Ensure the team are utilised to full capacity; whilst performing and progressing against their individual objectives
  • Be an ambassador for the company ‘brand’; continually striving to raise the company profile within the industry
  • Focus on service, retention, growth and profitability of each client
  • Provide weekly update on sales forecast across your entire team, highlighting key movements and potential areas for growth or risk
  • Provide valuable insights from the client’s industries including customer, market and technology trends to help create engaging solutions that respond to those insights and add real value to their brands

Skills and Experience

  • Agency leader; a strong positive profile that demonstrates initiative and proactivity
  • Strategically and commercially minded with the ability to accurately forecast
  • Ability to nurture relationships and strategically manage the direction of clients
  • Great attention to detail, ensuring 100% accuracy at all times
  • Excellent level of knowledge of office applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and MS Project
  • Able to articulate ideas well – internally and externally and sets consistently high standards
  • A team player; intuitive and perceptive to the needs, strengths and weaknesses of others and self
  • Self-sufficient, capable; able to manage own workload, understands deadlines
