Client Manager

About

Our client specialises in the design and manufacture of bespoke exhibition stands, retail fit outs, office interiors and digital.

They’re now looking to add a Client Manager to the team, who will focus on creating and nurturing strong, long-term relationships with clients. You should be an excellent communicator, with strong business development skills, to effectively manage a complete portfolio of clients.

Job Role

  • Be the main point of contact for allocated clients
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, managing their expectations, resolving issues and always delivering excellent customer service
  • Have initial discussions with clients, assessing their needs, budget and timescales
  • Support the Business Development Manager, determining when face-to-face meetings should take place and who would be best to attend
  • Showcase company credentials to clients
  • Take and design briefs and provide accurate costing, actions and timescales, ensuring each design meets the brief and is good value for money
  • Attend client meetings and present designs
  • Support the wider teams to identify opportunities and secure sales
  • Where a sale isn’t secured, understand the reasons why and learn from this
  • Obtain feedback once the project has been delivered, as appropriate
  • Account management administration, as required
  • Share project performance statistics with the Business Development Manager
  • Attend networking activities

Skills and Experience

  • You will ideally be graduate calibre with a background or interest in design
  • Creative and able to think outside of the box
  • Previous experience within a client facing / account management role or within a marketing department
  • A passion for great customer service, with excellent client management skills
  • Willing to learn and take responsibility for your decisions
  • A team player, able to develop strong working relationships at all levels
  • Commercially aware
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Organised, excellent time keeping skills and a keen eye for detail
  • IT literate
