Our client is a multi-award-winning creative design and manufacture company. They specialise in bespoke window displays, pop-ups, in-store solutions, and events, from design through to installation.

They’re looking to add an experienced Conceptual Designer to the team. To fit this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience, a keen creative eye and strong knowledge of retail design.

You’ll need to be a creative storyteller, generating concepts through to renders and technical drawings for manufacturing.

Job Role

• Develop initial design concepts within retail environments, that meet the client’s brief
• Able to work across a variety of projects from luxury to high street retailers, across pop ups, shop fit, and window displays
• Confidently liaising with suppliers and presenting design concepts to the rest of the team
• Work from the brief to create mood boards, sketches, renders and technical drawings for manufacturing
• Ensure projects are kept within the budget, on schedule and completed to a high standard
• Showcase a strong technical drawing ability by create clear and concise technical drawings
• Produce clear production packs, showing manufacturing methods and material lists

Skills and Experience

• Strong knowledge of SketchUp and rendering software (such as V Ray)
• Good knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Organised and able to plan and prioritise
• Flexible with excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of materials and manufacture processes
• Experience using VCarve
• CNC Programming would be beneficial
