About

Our client is a well-established retail brand, with 40+ years’ industry experience. With over 1200 stores globally, they pride themselves on providing customers with the latest products from the very best brands using creative and innovative merchandising.

They have a fantastic new opportunity for a CRM Manager to join the team and contribute to the planning and implementation of a new CRM strategy for the outdoor brands.

Job Role

  • Oversee the creative delivery of CRM communications including mail shots, catalogues and customer lifecycle marketing, from start to finish, to drive revenue and increase ROI
  • The planning and implementation of the the client’s CRM strategy
  • Work alongside the team to implement a members card strategy across all channels, aligning online and offline activity to drive acquisition, increase conversion, improve retention and encourage loyalty
  • Champion the CRM strategy with key stakeholders
  • Plan, implement and deliver customer lifecycle marketing materials, based on previous purchases or current product interests
  • Collaborate with the CRM Agency agreeing format tests and recommendations for roll out
  • Analysis and reporting on campaign effectiveness, including ROI and recommendations for future campaigns
  • Help deliver a single customer view database for the business
  • Work with the CRM agency and internal stakeholders to ensure the database health and accuracy is maintained

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a CRM role, specifically managing and executing the full end-to-end process within direct mail and email marketing
  • Experience within direct mail, preferable gained within a retail or B2C environment
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Able to work under time pressure, customer focused and respond well to last minute changes
  • Balance competing agendas, prioritise and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Passionate about CRM and great communications skills, written and verbal
  • Experience of using CRM databases and web analytics to analyse marketing campaigns and present strategies based on results
  • Excellent planning, numerical and project management skills and competent at MS Excel
