Our client is a leading supplier of Retail Display and shop fitting products.
They are looking to add an Industry Manager to their team. You will place a critical role in the management and growth of several key accounts. Overseeing a portfolio of assigned customers, developing new business and seeking sales opportunities. This role will involve a combination of client visits and video/phone meetings.
Job Role
Build and nurture strong working relationships with all clients within your allocated area
Proactively contact customers to promote the company’s products and services
Identify new business opportunities and broaden the customer base
Consistently deliver a high standard of customer service and satisfaction
Cross sell additional products and solutions where possible
Follow up on quotations and provide feedback as requested
Maintain the CRM software daily, to ensure accurate forecasting
Play an active role in new and existing product development
Prepare and deliver KPI reports and attend department/business review meetings, as required
Collaborate with the Head of External Sales / Key Accounts and the Marketing department, to identify new opportunities
Contribute to company projects as required
Maintain a suitable level of expertise with product portfolio
Undertake other tasks, relevant to the role, as required

Proven experience in an external sales role, ideally within the area of supplying retailers or charities with Retail Consumables and Shop Fittings
Experience of working autonomously in own regional area
Strong knowledge of Retail Consumables and / or Shop Fittings products
Good working knowledge of working with charities
Highly effective selling abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Well-developed negotiation and persuasion skills
Effective planning and organisational skills
Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
IT literate, especially MS Office applications
A full clean UK driving licence
