Key Account Manager

About

Our client is a major player within the retail design market, offering bespoke POP solutions to countless brands and retailers.

They are now looking to add a Key Account Manager to the team, who will handle several accounts within Health & Beauty POP. The successful candidate will offer efficient management of the client account, while creating profitable sales growth.

This is a varied role with travel between the office, factory sites and client visits, mixed in with some working from home too.

Job Role

  • Build and maintain excellent working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Work alongside the other teams to effectively manage the client’s needs and expectations
  • Coordinate and manage client projects
  • Ensure project paperwork and documentation is up to date
  • Deliver client presentations
  • Ensure project briefing and communications are up to date both internally and externally
  • Strong commercial awareness with a proven track record of meeting KPIs and accurately budgeting/forecasting
  • Oversee financial aspects for each project including margins, monthly forecast and a realistic sales target
  • Observe market changes and suggest opportunities that can be used to grow the company sales and manufacturing departments
  • Show an interest in all aspects of POP, including materials and manufacturing methods
  • When applicable, be able to make informed suggestions on CAD designs and drawings
  • If required, be comfortable working in the client’s office for projects

Skills and Experience

  • Experience in managing POP and retail display projects
  • Dynamic and a passion for retail display
  • A confident, ‘people person’
  • Thrive off working under pressure across multiple projects
  • Excellent communication skills
  • International and UK travel may be required
  • Professional and collaborative
  • Strong organisation and time management skills
  • Knowledge of POP and display materials
