About

A Retail Display and Shopfitting specialist with global offices, this forward-thinking company delivers projects worldwide. They provide on-going support for bespoke requirements on any scale through the management of brand led international display programmes.

Now looking for an experienced Programme Manager to join their team to be responsible for delivering all program activity to one of their major global clients, within the toy industry.

Job role

  • Be responsible of driving great design briefs from the client and managing the workflows through the design studios
  • Work closely with the supply team to ensure budgets and timelines are achievable
  • Create, manage and monitor the overall project time plan with the individual stakeholders to ensure delivery on plan
  • Act as the facilitator working with the team to break through issues related to design, supply chain, systems warehousing and installation activity
  • Serve as liaison to client contacts, coordinating client needs and requests with company and other third-party agency needs
  • Work proactively on methods to drive efficiency and reduce cost in area of responsibility
  • Ensure commercial compliance within your project requirements, meeting or exceeding budgets
  • Monthly commercial reporting required, as well as providing quotations as needed for individual activities
  • Directly line manage the team project coordinator, working closely with them to provide the right admin support and reports and data to deliver back to the client or the account director where necessary.
  • Oversee the warehouse operation and the customer service agent that represents us, ensuring we are delivering the best possible service; whilst tracking stock and monitoring costs
  • Work closely with our finance team to report on stock, invoicing and working capital requirements
  • Oversee internal and client processes and systems, looking for continual improvement, complete updates as required and ensure internal colleagues complete work as needed

Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in PM role, preferably within the display, store fixture or retail sector
  • Previous experience of direct line management
  • Established record of successful customer activity management with installation services
  • Preferable to have experience working directly with global brands or directly with retailers
  • Experience of Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal and motivational skills
  • Highly numerate with the ability to analyse and add value to information
  • Attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills, able to multi-task on simultaneous projects
  • Ability to work flexible hours, available to travel
