Sales Account Manager

Specialising in retail design, visual merchandising, and shop fit out interiors, our client offers full end to end solutions to their clients from concept to completion. Providing a high level of creativity, technical expertise and innovation, alongside in-depth knowledge and understanding of retail trends, they have become leaders in the field of experiential retail environments.

Now looking for an experienced individual to join their growing team. The successful candidate will have extensive communication skills and have the ability to manage high profile, business critical key accounts

Job Role

  • Ensure you have an in-depth understanding of the financial portfolio including contract value, pricing model & contract renewal dates
  • Responsible for accurate project costing and quoting
  • Responsible for ensuring the product delivery is successful and that the clients expectations are managed throughout
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationship through regular close contact, account management including face to face meetings, telephone & email communication
  • Project managing national roll outs, developing timetables, setting deadlines within client budget
  • Manage, maintain and exceed the expectations of the client
  • Manage projects internally in a timely manner, using the resources available, whilst ensuring all procedures are adhered to
  • Liaising with purchasing, logistics, accounts departments and global suppliers as required
  • Providing quotations and tenders within margin parameters
  • Management of all client stock level management
  • Produce reports as required by the client whilst establishing individual requirements to ensure that a bespoke service is offered
  • Predominantly office based but will be required to attend client meetings where required
  • The initiative to encourage developing new business and grow and maintain current accounts

Skills and Experience

  • Exceptional account manager experienced in dealing with middle management level
  • Passionate and driven individual with first rate organisational skills
  • Will possess a good commercial acumen & understanding of business
  • Strong listening and questioning skills with the ability to think proactively & react quickly
  • Ability to win new business whilst at the same time building on and developing existing customer relationships
  • Positive, flexible and committed individual, with the desire to progress within the organisation.
  • Will have a strong notion & understanding of customer service and excellent telephone manner
  • Experienced in meeting environments
  • Able to understand the client, their products & their industry
  • Advanced user of Microsoft word, excel and outlook, experience of Sage soft wear not essential but beneficial
  • Willing to take on international travel to meet with key clients

Benefits

There will be a salary of £32k + Benefits on offer for the successful candidate.
