A well-established Point of Sale / Display Production company based in Yorkshire; with over 30 years’ experience in the industry, the Business has developed a unique way of working focused on quality and service.
Our client is looking for a Solidworks CAD Designer to join their team. You will help to deliver on projects from the enquiry stages, through to design, build and construction on site.
Job Role
Use Solidworks to produce layout drawings and calculations
Liaise with clients, suppliers and engineers, to discuss design details and drawings
Amend and update construction drawings as required
Oversee the build, regularly liaising with artworkers and production teams
Project coordination, site visits and installs
Skills and Experience
2+ Years’ of Solidworks experience
Experience using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Solidworks Visualiser would be advantageous to the role
Sheet metal experience is also be desirable
Ideally some building or construction experience in the Retail sector
Adaptable and comfortable working in fast-paced environments
Hands-on and proactive
