Established for over 30 years, our client is a market leader in delivering in-store fixtures and promotional solutions, servicing both end users and trade. With in-house design, production, and manufacturing all under one roof, they offer a seamless and agile creative process.

Following a recent restructure that merged the ADHOC artwork team with the Visual Merchandising department, our client is now looking to bring in a Junior 2D Artworker. This role will primarily support the delivery of varied, ad-hoc creative projects that fall outside the core workstreams.

They’re not looking for someone with extensive experience – what matters most is a strong desire to learn, develop, and grow within a collaborative team.

With a wealth of experience already within the department, this is an excellent opportunity for a junior creative to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Job Role

• Create 2D artwork and supporting documentation for temporary promotional retail display & POS equipment
• Compose approved artwork packs for print
• Liaise with Print, Prototype & Production teams, to ensure artwork fits the brief and accurately translate to final print
• Attend client meetings and prototype/print review sessions
• Support 2D artworkers, quality checking artwork packs, before submission to the client, in line with company standards
• Complete complex iterative artwork amends, as per client feedback

Skills and Experience

• Capable at working to tight deadlines, with a strong work ethic
• A positive, can-do attitude & calmness under pressure
• A natural inclination toward technical, process-driven activities
• A keen eye for detail, spotting errors and inconsistencies, suggesting amendments
• Able to work according to an established company process, with checking procedures to ensure accuracy of your artwork
• An appreciation for aesthetics & graphic composition/layout, adhering to brand guidelines; paired with an understanding of print processes, inks & materials
• A good listener, able to take direction from others, whilst also being able to communicate your thoughts effectively
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and experience with MS Excel is preferred
