The Project Manager plays a central role in delivering multiple retail marketing projects from concept through to completion. This is a hands-on, solutions-focused role responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.

Working cross-functionally with sales, design, manufacturing, and installation teams, the role also involves regular engagement with clients and suppliers. It requires strong commercial awareness, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of manufacturing and production processes, alongside a proactive approach to risk, quality, and financial control.

Job Role

• Manage multiple concurrent projects across varying stages of development and delivery
• Interpret briefs from sales teams and translate them into clear project plans
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and critical paths
• Monitor progress using project management tools and KPIs
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks relating to delivery, scope, cost, and quality
• Ensure health & safety compliance, including creation of RAMs where required
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and satisfaction
• Coordinate internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout delivery
• Source, benchmark, and negotiate supplier costs and lead times in line with procurement policy
• Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring budget accuracy and approval compliance
• Manage project budgets, track spend against forecast, and maintain margin control
• Close out projects financially, ensuring accurate invoicing and reconciliation
• Support quality control procedures across production and installation
• Contribute to post-project reviews, financial analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in project management or a similar role
• Background in retail marketing, manufacturing, POS/POP, print production, or installation
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Strong commercial awareness, including budgeting, supplier negotiation, and margin control
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organised, detail-focused, and calm under pressure
• Confident working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with purchase orders, suppliers, and cost tracking
• Knowledge of health & safety standards and quality control processes
• Familiarity with RAMs and risk management
• Proactive, solutions-oriented, and collaborative mindset
• Willingness to learn, grow, and take on increased responsibility
