Our client is a Design and Manufacturing company that has been established for over 30 years. They offer bespoke solutions to the Retail, Exhibition and Events industries.

They are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Technical Designer, to join the team.

Job Role

• Produce 3D models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, cutting lists, CNC programs and visuals, in line with the client’s brief and requirements
• Consider the feasibility and propose design solutions to meet project goals
• Research materials and find the most appropriate option for each project
• Respond to any design related queries as they arise in the production process
• Create 3D models and manufacturing drawings using Solidworks
• Use Visualize to create rendered visuals
• Use SWood software to create, BOMs, cutting lists, CNC nesting and CNC cutting programs (training can be provided on SWood)

Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in the use of Solidworks, SWood and Visualize
• Able to work effectively in a busy and time critical environment
• A team player, adaptable and always prepared to help
• Passionate about design and innovation
• Self-motivated and solution orientated
• Excellent communication skills
