Our client is looking for a highly motivated, technically proficient Midweight Artworker to join the team.

You’ll be working on a high-pressure, fast-moving project, so it’s essential that you work with absolute precision, remaining calm under pressure. Previous experience in POS / Retail Design is essential.

Job Role

• Create 2D artwork and supporting documentation for temporary promotional retail display & POS equipment
• Compose approved artwork packs for print
• Liaise with Print, Prototype & Production teams, to ensure artwork fits the brief and accurately translate to final print
• Attend client meetings and prototype/print review sessions
• Support 2D artworkers, quality checking artwork packs, before submission to the client, in line with company standards
• Complete complex iterative artwork amends, as per client feedback
• Motivate and enthuse the more junior team members within the 2D team

• Capable at working to tight deadlines, with a strong work ethic
• A positive, can-do attitude & calmness under pressure
• A natural inclination toward technical, process-driven activities
• A keen eye for detail, spotting errors and inconsistencies, suggesting amendments
• Able to work according to an established company process, with checking procedures to ensure accuracy of your artwork
• An appreciation for aesthetics & graphic composition/layout, adhering to brand guidelines; paired with an understanding of print processes, inks & materials
• A good listener, able to take direction from others, whilst also being able to communicate your thoughts effectively
• 2-3 Years experience working in Artworking & Graphic Design for Retail/POS
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and experience with MS Excel is preferred
