Our client is a leading design/production agency who work globally with some of the biggest brands. They have an excellent track record in delivering outstanding work for retail windows, retail and non-retail interiors, travel retail, POS units, exhibitions, events and pop ups.

Now looking for a Project Manager to join their team, the successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Design and Production team to execute a diverse range of creative projects from window displays, pop-up, press events and one-off installations.

Job Role

• Setting out and agreeing project objectives, timelines and budget
• Day-to-day management of multiple projects for various client accounts
• Completion of all project documentation and internal administration, including: preparing internal briefing documents, project schedules, resource planning, coordinating client feedback, installation and delivery schedules, H&S documents and project status reports
• Completion of all financial aspects of project management, including preparing project budgets (design development fees, internal production, out-sourced contractors etc), monitoring margin and tracking costs, generating purchase orders and invoice requests to the finance team
• Ensure that Production department staff and contractors responsible to you are fully briefed on project requirements, budgets, delivery timescales and standards
• Coordinate client (or supplier) meetings; create meeting agendas and taking minutes to align all parties
• Develop strong and effective partnerships with all team members and external parties to ensure successful project development and delivery
• Monitor and manage third party suppliers, ensuring quality and timelines are adhered to
• Arrange and oversee delivery and installation of projects (on-site where applicable)
• Ensure that installation teams are fully resourced and aware of customer expectations
• Identifies and tracks project risks, ensuring mitigation plans are executed
• Report on financial status of projects to Head of Department

Skills and Experience

• 2-3 years of experience within an integrated design and production agency (or similar)
• Strong project management, negotiation and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work under pressure and problem solve
• Proactive, resourceful and demonstrate initiative
• Track record of delivering projects from design through to installation in a fast-paced environment
• General understanding to interpret technical / CAD drawings
• Ability to manage budgets, risks and resources and suppliers
• Is able to identify and deliver to customers’ needs and expectations
• Takes ownership of customers’ problems and ensure a satisfactory resolution
• Is able to manage the requirements of diverse customers in a timely and effective manner without compromising the quality of the expected service
• Responds positively to constructive feedback, demonstrating learning from experience and others’ advice
• Recognises own strengths and weaknesses and identifies personal training development needs and solutions
