Retail Project Manager

About

Our client is a UK based company operating in numerous countries worldwide with a large and prestigious portfolio. They specialise in store design, product development, merchandising, and installations among other retail solutions.

Job Role

  • Collate and issue detailed brief to Design Agencies to commence design process once confirmed by Property for Elevated stores
  • Projects deadlines and parameters to be set for the Programme Manager to manage
  • Request BIM folder creation and upload brief
  • Coordinate and attend Pre-start meeting to review site, agree scope of works, address and design / operational issues and finalise brief
  • Provide approved Zonal plans via discussions / review with senior stakeholders
  • Confirm to the Design Agency that zonal approved and agree timings for release of DIP information and update the Architects
  • Coordinate with Architects and Internal Teams to develop a program
  • Continually monitor program and ensure that information is flowing in a timely manner
  • Ensure that programs are kept up to date
  • Review Design Agency Status Reports and follow up anything which is unexpected
  • Issue summary of all live projects to senior management and property team
  • Approve fixture layout and ensure it is reviewed with the Concept Manager, Regional Manager and other relevant internal Teams
  • Responsible for taking the Project from Brief to Start
  • Attend the pre-handover meeting to ensure the brief has been delivered for their Project
  • Manage ‘Client Directs’ i.e. Stationary, Security (CCTV, Tagging, Safe), BoH Flooring, IT, Mannequins, MY ID Printers and Retail to ensure their works are fulfilled
  • Organise and follow up video and photoshoots for all stores
  • Attend weekly Property and Design update conference calls / meetings
  • Liaise / manage brand relationship and requirements for store personalisation
  • Review all standard details for decoration, signage, customer toilets, fitting rooms etc

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience of store design and delivery
  • Ability to talk to stakeholders and internal teams at all levels
  • Fantastic multi-tasking skills, you’ll be managing multiple projects across a variety of markets
  • Highly organised and personable
  • Great attention to detail
  • Experience of using Airtable would be beneficial
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
