Account Manager

About

Our client is a global Retail Display specialist, who deliver projects for some of the world’s leading brands and retailers.

Now looking for a brand-based Account Manager, with a passion for retail display experiences to join their team. You should be able to identify new opportunities and turn existing opportunities into reality, while supporting the client and providing expertise.

The role will be split between working directly with the client and the company’s offices. There will also be the need for international travel and flexibility within the role to work from home.

Job Role

  • Be an extension to the client’s team, understanding their strategic objectives and developing the service levels, appropriate to each opportunity
  • Support with deciding budget holders, influencers, decision makers and supporters
  • Use market insights to drive efficiency and new opportunities for the client that can deliver mutual gain
  • Regular communication and updates – Provide weekly project updates and performance reviews etc
  • Strategise and develop a plan for growth for the client
  • Communicate frequently with the Retail Development Director about future opportunities
  • Identify opportunities for business development and to offer additional services to the client
  • Streamline the workflow and commercial viability of each project
  • Be prepared to present at all levels for the company
  • Regularly review resources and forecast the workload, striving for efficiency at all times

Skills and Experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience of working in a similar, ideally within POP, Store Fixture or Retail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Proven experience of successful client development and business conversion, with premium brands
  • Flexible and available to travel when required
  • Able to motivate the team, with good interpersonal skills
