Print Project Manager

About

Our client is a well-established and award-winning business within the design industry. They have worked across a range of projects, including retail design and build, POS, POP, displays, exhibitions, pop-up shops and bespoke projects.

Now looking to add two Print Project Managers to the ‘Create’ team. The successful candidates will get involved in varied projects, including promotional marketing activities, bespoke packaging, POS design, Merchandise gifting, special promotion, and in-house events for FMCG clients.

Job Role

  • Establish professional and productive relationships with clients and other stakeholders
  • Project Manage the production of items from brief through to completion, ensuring the project is delivered on time and to the correct specifications
  • Attend weekly meetings, checking on agreed responsibilities, tasks and checking in with other stakeholders and clients as required
  • Maintain an up to date project file, ensuring it’s complete with all correspondence, specifications, drawings and reference information
  • Set and agree estimated lead times for each stage of the projects, producing schedules and timelines for completion
  • Use a formalised costing system to achieve targeted gross margin and consult with account managers for client approval
  • Keep the Head of Projects updated on project progress on a weekly basis
  • Manage internal and external supplier resources
  • Manage workload, delegating to relevant parties and identifying any difficulties or delays

Skills and Experience

  • At least 3 years project /account management experience in FMCG environments
  • POS, product sourcing and print procurement experience would be advantageous
  • Excellent PC literacy and attention to detail
  • Commercial focus and profitability awareness
  • Excellent organisation, communication, teamwork, and negotiation skills
  • Flexible approach and the ability to use your initiative and make decisions under pressure
  • Problem solving and accountability for delivering results
  • Knowledge of warehousing, co-packing and merchandise gifting would be useful
